Hirwaun Cottage, our 2-bedroom semi-detached cottage in West Wales, has earned a 5-star rating from VisitWales. It's the perfect retreat for families or couples seeking a peaceful getaway in this beautiful region.

Hirwaun Cottage is a beautifully renovated home with a charming blend of traditional and modern features. The high green oak beam ceiling and porcelain tiled floors with underfloor heating create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Upstairs is a twin-bedded room, and downstairs is the double bedroom. You'll find a luxurious bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower, as well as a quaint country kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, electric cooker, washing machine, and fridge freezer. The spacious living room invites you to relax in front of the log-burner, sink into the soft-fabric sofas and armchair, and enjoy the oak coffee table. For your convenience, the cottage also offers complimentary WiFi.

Hirwaun’s private garden comes with patio furniture, as well as a fire pit for snug nights under the stars. Your stay at Hirwaun Cottage also includes access to all our wonderful onsite facilities.

Hirwaun Cottage is our only pet-free cottage. Please note that Hirwaun, like all our cottages, is a non-smoking property.

Accessibility Information

Semi-Detached two bedroom cottage entrance doors in the front [through the kitchen] and the side door, through porch area leading into the lounge.
Level, gravel car parking within 1m of the cottage front door.
Outside light.
One 15cm step onto the property through front door into kitchen area.
Ramp leading to the side door into porch area.
The front entrance door is 84cm wide and the side entrance door is 87cm, with a threshold of no more than 7cm. All interior doors are 83cm.
Entry through the front door leads directly into the kitchen, with the sitting and diner area to the left. Leading off this area is the double bedroom with space in excess of 1m around the double bed, a wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables, there is room for a cot.

The bathroom, is also accessed from the open-plan living area, and has a bath with grab handle, a walk in shower, W.C. and wash basin.
